About PL8FROG

PL8FROG is a the world's largest collection of vanity license plates from around the world. Vanity license plates are a small joy in life, a surprise to make you laugh, think, or smile as you travel.

The History of Tagging

We started this site to shader our love and maybe even unhealthy obsession with vanity license plates. We welcome user submissions from all countries. Come help us share the joy of vanity plates! Vanity plates can be found everywhere cars can be found. Different countries have different rules, but all vanity plates are great!

We are a collection of "taggers". A "tagger" is someone who takes picutres of, and collects, vanity license plates. To "tag" a plate is to take a photo of it for your collection and to share. Some taggers develope unique style; some try to tag only in traffic, some in parking lots, some at night. Get creative with it!

Every plate in this collection is an original photograph. User submissions are required to be photographs taken by the user themselves, not found on the internet.

This site is updated regularly as new plates are tagged in the wild.
